BRI Grup Bagikan 1000 Paket Sembako di Jaksel

Munjirin Appreciates Distribution of 1,000 Food Packages in South Jakarta

The aid distribution using the DTKS database is an effort

South Jakarta Mayor, Munjirin, appreciated the distribution of 1,000 staple food packages to underprivileged residents initiated by Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) CSR, Friday (4/14) at Blok S Field, West Rawa Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru.

According to him, his party was synergizing with BRI to distribute assistance packages based on the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS) in urban village areas.

DTKS as a result of village meetings is master data that contains data on residents who need social welfare services, beneficiaries of social assistance and empowerment, as well as potential and sources of social welfare.

"The aid distribution using the DTKS database is an effort, thus the recipients are right on target and according to the criteria," he expressed.

He hoped that the distribution in the form of rice, cooking oil, sugar, and others could help pre-prosperous residents in welcoming Idul Fitri 1444 Hijri.

BRI 2 Jakarta Regional Chief Executive Officer, Prasetya Sayekti explained the staple food distribution packaged in the program “Berbagi Bahagia Bersama BRI" (Sharing Happiness with BRI) is a form of social responsibility that is carried out regularly by the BRI Group.

He was committed that a certain percentage of the profits earned by the company will be channeled back to the community in the form of CSR. It is in line with BRI's vision as the Most Valuable Banking Group in South East Asia.

"Through the BRI Peduli program, besides the distribution of staple food packages, there are also other assistance programs. This is for the benefit of the community and to establish cooperation with BRI stakeholders," he stated.
