Kosambi Green Belt Park, Becomes Favorite Place for Ngabuburit

Kosambi Green Belt Park is still a favorite location for residents to ngabuburit (waiting for iftar). Located on Jalan Taman Kosambi Barat, RT 10/10, Duri Kosambi Urban Village, Cengkareng Sub-district, West Jakarta, residents can enjoy the afternoon atmosphere in a green, shady, and beautiful park while waiting for the time to break their fast.

We purposely came to play in the park while hanging out

As quoted by Beritajakarta.id, Sunday (4/16), hundreds of visitors consisting of children, teenagers to adults seemed engrossed in enjoying the various existing facilities. They also looked relaxed while talking under the trees and huts and some are engrossed in taking selfies on location.

Intan (35), a resident of RT 04/06, Duri Kosambi Urban Village said she and her two babies had purposely come with 15 other people to ngabuburit at Kosambi Green Belt Park. For about an hour, they enjoyed the facilities available at the park such as swings, slides, and saw various types of fish in ornamental fish ponds.

"We purposely came to play in the park while hanging out. The park is also really nice, clean, tidy, spacious, and beautiful and the facilities are quite complete for children's education," she expressed, Sunday (4/16).

Kosambi Green Belt Park Caretaker, Yamin expressed the park is under the auspices of the West Jakarta Parks and City Forests Sub-agency. This 3.5-hectare park is planted with various types of ornamental and protective plants that make this park look green and beautiful. As a means of education, in the park area, there are also enclosures for geese, ducks, rabbits, birds, and fish ponds.

"During Ramadan, the park is full of visitors every day and can be over 100 visitors. On the weekend, the number increases by 400. Besides from West Jakarta, the rest are from Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, and Tangerang," he stated.
