The flow of departures and arrivals of travelers at Muara Angke Port, Penjaringan, North Jakarta is still busy.

Regional Port Service I for Muara Angke Port Head, Ahmad Gozali expressed that since Idul Fitri, the number of passengers departing and arriving at Muara Angke port has fluctuated. The number of departures on April 25 reached 11,847 people and 8,975 arrived.

"This morning, the number of departing passengers reached 1,860 people. While the number of passengers who came until this afternoon was 980 people. It will probably increase until later this late afternoon," he said, Wednesday (4/26).

Due to the surge in the number of passengers from April 24-25, his party opened two trips with 20 ships. Based on the data, most passengers depart and come to residential islands such as Kelapa Island, Pramuka Island, Tidung Island, and Untung Jawa Island.

"The surge in passengers will occur again this week due to the long holiday. People are urged to buy tickets online to avoid queues and keep their belongings safe while traveling," he stated.

Yanti (30), a traveler from Kelapa Island who uses the traditional K.Satria I boat assessed that the number of travelers and tourists on Idul Fitri holiday was quite busy.

"I've been home since D-3 of Idul Fitri and just returned today. My family and I go back and return using a traditional boat. Everything went smoohly," she admitted.

Wildan (18), a resident of East Jakarta admitted that she took a boat for a vacation to Seribu Islands. Admittedly, traveling by traditional boat was not a problem. However, during Idul Fitri, the price of boats rose by Rp 80,000 to 90,000.

"I'm on vacation to Kelapa Island. From Sunday, I stay with three of my friends. We want to enjoy of this year's Idul Fitri holiday in a different way," she closed.
