Idul Fitri Holiday, 29,720 Tourists Visited Seribu Islands

The Seribu Islands Tourism and Creative Economic Sub-agency has noted that as many as 29,720 tourists have packed to tour sites spread through ports across Seribu Islands during Idul Fitri holiday.

29,266 tourists are domestic and 454 are foreigners

"29,266 tourists are domestic and 454 are foreigners. They came via Marina Ancol, Kaliadem, Tanjung Pasir, and Cituis piers ," said Seribu Islands Tourism and Creative Economic Sub-agency Head, Sonti Pangaribuan, Wednesday (4/26).

According to him, tourists come to visit the various islands in Seribu Islands, especially resident islands with attractive tourist destinations and resort islands which have their own charm.

"Seribu Islands itself has several interesting tourist destinations on inhabited islands such as Japanese Village on Untung Jawa Island, Love Bridge on Tidung Island, Sunrise Beach on Pramuka Island, and many more," he expressed.

He added Seribu Islands is often the choice of tourists. This is because access to the Islands is easy to reach, facilities for tourists are adequate and lodging prices are affordable.

"The increase in tourist arrivals occurred on D+2 of Idul Fitri with 8,768 people. Most of them spend their holidays with their families while enjoying the beautiful panoramic views under the sea," he closed.
