Health Services at South Seribu Islands Security Posts are Still Open

The South Seribu Islands Sub-district Health Center keeps opening health services at the Idul Fitri Security Post (Pospam) in three urban villages.

Each post has three health center employees

South Seribu Islands Sub-district Health Center Head, Ilmi Tri Indarto said the health service was opened on Tidung Island, Pari Island, and Untung Jawa Island from April 19 until now, targeting tourists, residents, captains, and ship crews (ABK).

"Each post has three health center employees assisted by Emergency Ambulance (AGD) team and Seribu Islands PMI," he said, Thursday (4/27).

He explained the health services at this post include general or basic health checks such as blood pressure, temperature, balance, sugar or based on complaints of dizziness after boarding the ship or other symptoms felt by the patient.

"The number of patients examined varies on each island considering the different population density. Most patients served on Tidung Island reach 35 patients in one day," he expressed.

He explained if the examination the patient's condition was declared severe, he would be referred to the sea AGD team from Jakarta PK3D.

"On April 24, one patient was referred to a hospital in mainland Jakarta from Untung Jawa Island. The patient was actively bleeding after being punctured by a stingray spine," he stated.
