Next week, Repairs to Median Jalan Metro Pondok Indah Completed

The South Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency targets the repair work on the median for Jalan Metro Pondok Indah, precisely in front of Pondok Indah 1 Mall, to be completed next week.

We have been conducting repairs on the road median and kanstine since a few days ago

The repair is carried out following the construction of a new water channel at that location.

Road, Bridge and Road Equipment Division Head, Agus Indroyono expressed part of the road under the pedestrian bridge (JPO) connecting Pondok Indah Mall 1 and 2 had been excavated to make a new 76-meter channel to Pondok Indah Underpass.

But now the road has been closed again using cast concrete, leaving debris, and impacting the existing canteen.

"We have been conducting repairs on the road median and kanstine since a few days ago and are targeted to be completed next week," he expressed, Saturday (4/29).

He added the median length of the road and the repaired kanstine was about 70 meters by one meter wide.

Thus far, there have been no problems with repairs. It is just that the workers carrying out the repairs must be more careful, as the traffic flow around the location is quite busy in both directions.
