Dirty, Busway Separators on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman Cleaned

Joint personnel cleared the busway separator along Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Setiabudi, South Jakarta, Thursday (5/4) night. It was done by spraying using two fire engines.

The cleaning action led by Setiabudi Sub-district Head, Iswahyudi was started from Sudirman Train Station in Dukus Atas. It was directly monitored by South Jakarta Mayor, Munjirin.

According to him, the cleaning of the six-kilometer separator was carried out due to it dull and dirty condition. It was carried out at night, as traffic along Jalan Sudirman area is very congested during the day.

"This protocol road is crossed by many people, including officials and state guests. So, it has to be clean and sterile," he concluded, Friday (5/5).

It involved 150 joint personnel from urban village and sub-district, Satpol PP, Transportation Sub-agency, Fire and Rescue Sub-agency, Environment Sub-agency, Bina Marga Sub-agency, and PPSU.

"Two fire engines and two tank cars belonging to South Jakarta Parks and City Forest Sub-agency are also deployed for spraying," he uttered.

South Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-agency Head, Syamsul Huda added 11 firefighters and two fire engines that have a capacity of 4,000 liters and 2,500 liters deployed were sent to optimize the cleaning.

"We are helping by deploying two fire engines and 11 firefighters," he stated.
