The Central Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency is cleaning the movable concrete barrier (MCB) blocks, which are on the Transjakarta lane on Jalan Jenderal Gatot Subroto.
Road and Bridge Division Head, Yudha Catur Suhartanto said the MCB block cleaning has been ongoing since Wednesday (10/25) by deploying seven personnel.

He targets the MCB block length to be cleaned could reach 3.8 kilometers, precisely from Sultan Hotel to Semanggi Plaza. Until now, the total length of the MCB block that has been cleaned is 874 meters.
"It is done by brushing the parts that are difficult to clean using soap and then spraying water," he explained.
By doing so, he hoped that it could make the road more pleasing to the eye.
