Jakarta Public Service Mall Launches Prosecutor's Service Unit

The Jakarta Investment and One-stop Services Agency (PMPTSP) and the Jakarta High Court (Kejati) presented the Prosecutor's Service Unit at Jakarta Province Public Service Mall, Setiabudi, South Jakarta.

Therefore, there are currently a total of 25 service units in the Jakarta Public Service Mall.

Jakarta PMPTSP Agency Head, Benni Aguscandra said this prosecutorial service unit is an effort to improve services to the public. It is also a form of joint commitment in realizing excellent public services for Jakarta residents by providing services that are fast, easy, affordable, safe, and comfortable with other service units from the Central Government, Regional Government, BUMN, BUMD, and other private companies at Jakarta Public Service Mall.

"We welcome this service as a form of joint commitment in realizing excellent public services for Jakartans," he expressed, Friday (5/12).

He hoped that it could open various synergy spaces and presenting various innovations in the field of public services in the future.

By doing so, Jakartans really feel the convenience in arranging licensing/non-licensing and other administrative arrangements. It included easy access to consult or be served directly by public service providers in Jakarta.

"Jakarta Government keeps inviting various other public service providers in Jakarta to participate in opening a Service Unit at the Jakarta Public Service Mall," he added.

Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office Head, Reda Manthovani uttered that there are two types of services provided at the Prosecutor's Service at Jakarta Public Service Mall, namely Free Legal and Ticketing services.

He mentioned free legal services are specifically for Civil and State Administrative Law (Datun), where Jakarta High Court provides State Attorney Attorneys (JPN) who could provide written and oral legal assistance to the public, both individuals and legal entities, in the form of consultations, opinions and information.

Even so, his party would still provide the best public service to the people who came to the Jakarta Public Service Mall, even though it was not a matter of Civil Law and State Administration.

"But the public won't know what Datun is. For instance, it turns out that it's a criminal matter, JPN can't refuse because people have come all the way here wanting legal advice. Therefore, it is necessary to have interactive, friendly, and cool communication skills in a bid to make solutions in accordance with statutory provisions," he explained.

As for ticketing services, people who are ticketed will no longer need to make payments and collect ticket evidence at the District Attorney's Office (Kejari) which is within the jurisdiction of Jakarta High Court.

He mentioned the perpetrators of ticket violations that occurred within the jurisdiction of Jakarta High Court could pay and collect evidence of the ticket at Jakarta Public Service Mall Prosecutor's Service Unit.

"If someone gets a ticket to take their STNK or SIM, they pay in advance at the bank, or you can here too, there are banking services and ATMs, they can be taken right away. So, people don't need to go anywhere, they don't have to go to the District Attorney's office, just here," he explained.

He admitted that he appreciated the Jakarta PMPTSP Agency which has made various innovations in the field of public services in realizing excellent service in Jakarta.

He hoped that Jakarta High Court's collaboration with Jakarta PMPTSP Agency, apart from being able to increase the Public Prosecutor's Service Index, could actually provide convenience for the community.

"Hopefully, this communication that has been established, our coordination and collaboration with the PMPTSP Agency can go well and provide benefits, satisfaction, and happiness to the public," he concluded.

The Free Legal Consultation and Ticketing services during the initial period of the opening of Jakarta Public Service Mall Attorney Services Unit can be enjoyed by Jakarta residents every Thursday, from 9 AM to 3 PM.
