Mendagri Berharap APBD Disetujui Sebelum 8 Maret

Home Ministry Targeted to Approve 2015 Budget on March 8

Definitely, we remain support whatever it is, ranging from inquiry rights, interpellation or report to KPK. We keep doing our duty as best as possible

The polemic of the 2015 City Budget (APBD) that happens between Jakarta Governor Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama with Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) is hoped could be resolved as soon as possible. Even, the Home Ministry planned to approve the budget prior to March 8, 2015.

"There has been no solution so far. But we're targeting a budget to be approved on March 8," said Home Minister, Tjahjo Kumolo, in Building C, Home Ministry, Jalan Merdeka Utara, Gambir, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (3/4).

2015 APBD Finally Ratified by Rp 73.08 T

Nevertheless, Kumolo admitted he respects the political conflict by legislative through inquiry rights and Ahok through documents reporting to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

"Definitely, we remain support whatever it is, ranging from inquiry rights, interpellation or report to KPK. We keep doing our duty as best as possible," stressed former General Secretary of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP).

Previously, on Tuesday (3/3), the inquiry rights committee from legislative and the Home Ministry held a private meeting to discuss the budget. Unfortunately, Kumolo was in Bandung and only met with Reydonnyzar Moenek, Home Ministry Spokeman.

Then on Wednesday (4/3), the ministry then summoned Ahok and his partner, Djarot Saiful Hidajat to attend the meeting. Until the news published, the meeting is still ongoing and led by Reydonnyzar Moenek. It is attended by echelon-I, -II and Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD) officials.
