Formula E Event Confirmed to Take Place During the Day

The international Formula E electric car racing event which will be held at Jakarta International EPrix Circuit (JIEC), Ancol, North Jakarta from June 3-4, 2023 is confirmed to take place during the day.

The statement above was conveyed by Co-Founder and Formula E Championship Officer Chief, Alberto Longo in a press conference via virtual.

"We want the race to take place during the day. So, we changed the format. We want this new format to provide something new and experience every year," he expressed, Thursday (5/25).

According to him, the Formula E event in Jakarta would be witnessed by people from all over the world. So, it was necessary to adjust the time in each country that witnessed the event.

"Night racing in Indonesia will eventually have a big impact elsewhere in the world. Because they are watching in a not very comfortable time zone," he explained.

He hoped that there were Indonesian racers who also competed in this event. His party would also to hold tests for new drivers so they could compete in Formula E.

"The authority whether a racer can enter this race or not lies with the team concerned," he explained.

As for the information, the forthcoming Formula E event will involve 11 electric car racing teams from eight countries around the world.
