East Jakarta Abang None 2023 This Weekend, Don't Miss It!

The East Jakarta Tourism and Creative (Parekraf) Economy Sub-agency is about to hold thr 2023 Abang None (Abnon) pageant on this weekend. There will be around 170 participants who have registered and passed through selection stage.

We will choose 80 participants from 170 registrants

East Jakarta Parekraf Sub-agency Head, Ahmad Ghozali expressed the Abnon stage itself started from participant registration from Thursday (4/27) to Friday (5/26).

"The tomorrow's next step is stage 1 auditions at the Leisure Inn Hotel Rawamangun. So, we will choose 80 participants from 170 registrants," he said, Friday (5/26).

He explained the first audition stage will start on Saturday (5/27) from 8 AM to 9 PM. All participants would undergo various assessment processes starting from administrative selection, intellectual tests, and interviews with the judges.

After being selected into 80 participants, the committee will conduct stage 2 auditions on Sunday (5/28) at the same place. The second stage of the selection will recruit again from 80 participants to 30 pairs to take part in the next stage.

"30 selected pairs will take part in a series of coaching activities until the Abnon final night is held, which falls on July 15 at Krakatau Ballroom TMII," he stated.

1. First Stage Auditions, Saturday May 27, 2023, chose 80 participants

2. Second Stage Auditions, Sunday May 28, 2023, chose 30 finalists

3. June 1 to 13, 2023, Jury class debriefing for finalists

4. June 17, Meet and Greet 30 finalists at AEON Cakung

5. July 8, 2023, Central Judging (East Jakarta Mayor Office)

6. July 9, 2023, Familiarity Night (Leisure Inn Rawamangun Hotel)

7. July 15, 2023, Final Night (Krakatau Ballroom TMII)
