Acting Governor Presents Awards to Six Meritorious and Achievement Women

Six meritorious and accomplished women representing cities and districts in Jakarta received awards from the Solidarity Action Organization for Advanced Indonesia Cabinet Era. The award was handed over directly by Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono at Jakarta City Hall, Tuesday (5/30).

The awards received were savings from OASE KIM by Rp 3,000,000 which directly transferred to the account concerned, certificates, and plaques. Meanwhile, PT Bank DKI as the sponsor handed over awards in the form of cash by Rp 1,000,000 each.
City Secretary's Assistant for People's Welfare, Widyastuti said the six women were deemed to have achieved and contributed in their respective fields such as education, health, socio-culture, environment, and agriculture.

Jakarta Women’s Empowerment, Family Planning and Child Protection Agency (PPAPP) Acting Head, Rizky Hamid said the award was given to women who have merit and achievements in districts/cities throughout Indonesia by the Solidarity Action Organization for Advanced Indonesia Cabinet Era in commemoration of the 145th Kartini Day.
He explained the Jakarta Government together with Provincial PKK Mobilization Team had selected and submitted six women's names to Home Ministry.
"The highlight of the award ceremony was held on May 17, 2023 in Medan which attended by ten representatives of the award recipients. The Acting Governor handed over the six representatives for Jakarta today," he explained.
She said women were able to independently improve their quality of life if given opportunities and opportunities. He assessed, women are capable of becoming the engine of change, even one of the forces for the progress of the nation.
"Hopefully, this award can also inspire women in Jakarta to continuously develop themselves and innovate according to their profession and field of work," he added.
