Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono attends the ceremony to commemorate Pancasila Day (Harlah) at National Monument (Monas), Central Jakarta, Thursday (6/1).

All invited guests for the ceremony wore regional traditional clothes. Including President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo who became the Ceremony Inspector also wore the traditional clothes of Deli Sultanate. Meanwhile, Heru was seen wearing traditional Betawi clothing, namely Ujung Serong.

Heru Encourages Education People to Educate NationOn that occasion, the President said that amid a crisis, Indonesia has become a country that has succeeded in maintaining economic, social, and political stability. It was the contribution of the nation's children thanks to unity, hard work and mutual cooperation.
"This nation successfully faced challenges against the world. Its foundation is the Pancasila ideology inherited from the first Indonesian President, Soekarno," he expressed.
He explained the ideology of Pancasila must be upheld for the progress of the nation. As a large country, Indonesia must sit on an equal footing with other nations. Therefore, Indonesia is ready to cooperate with any country and become a meeting point and a bridge for the differences that exist in the world.
He added the Pancasila ideology made Indonesia's leadership accepted and recognized by the world. Tolerance, unity, and mutual cooperation are the keys to building a strong nation.
"I invite everyone to reject extremism, reject the politicization of identity, reject the politicization of religion and uphold Pancasila values. Happy anniversary of Pancasila," he stated.
