Fire Victims 'Children' will Be Donated School Uniforms

Jakarta Education Sub-Department is going to donate new school uniforms and stationaries to 116 students who are fire victims living in Kebon Melati, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta. The aid is slated to be sent on Monday (3/9) in each schools, and dispensation also given to them by not wearing uniforms at school.

We allow those victims to go to school without wearing school uniform and shoes. On Monday (3/9), we are ready to send school uniforms

Jakarta Education Sub-Department Regional 1 Head, Sujadjono mentioned the 116 students are from Elementary School (SD) Kebon Melati 01 (23 children), Elementary School 02 (37 children), Elementary School 03 (33 children), Junior High School (SMP) 70 (16 children), and Junior High School 273 (7 children). Yet, he predicts its number will continue to increase in future.

"We allow those victims to go to school without wearing school uniform and shoes. On Monday (3/9), we are ready to send school uniforms," he told, Saturday (3/7). 

Tanah Sereal Fire Victims Received Aid

He also hoped the fire incident could be an education factor, thus other students empathize by collecting donation to fire victims. 

"We'll also simplify and facilitate the citizens who want to process their certificates that have been burnt," expressed Sujadjono.
