Jakarta Culture Agency Head, Iwan Henry Wardhana expressed the Indonesia Finland Festival 2023 is a celebratory event that presents various Indonesian cultural performances in the middle of the city of Helsinki, Finland presenting various traditional dances, music, culinary, and handicrafts which are the richness of Indonesian culture.

He went on to say that the festival was opened by the Indonesian Ambassador to Finland, Ratu Silvy Gayatri, who was greeted enthusiastically by the audience with the appearance of a delegation from the Jakarta Culture Agency art team presenting five dances and several Betawi songs that described the beauty and uniqueness of Jakarta's culture.
"Their performance successfully hypnotized the audience with their movements full of energy and unique grace. Betawi culture, with all the colors and stories presented in this performance, provided an unforgettable experience for the audience," he continued.
He hoped that the participation of the Jakarta Cultural Agency in this festival was capable of strengthening relations between Indonesia and Finland in the field of arts and culture, as well as encourage the exchange of knowledge, experience, and collaboration between the communities of artists and creative actors of the two countries.
He also appreciates the initiative of the festival and thanks the Finnish Diaspora, the community, business people, and creative people who have worked hard to organize this event.
