Camp Broadway Indonesia to Show Mainstage Jakarta

Camp Broadway Indonesia (CBI) will be back to show its educational capacity for theater and performing arts at Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM) Central Jakarta, next Friday (7/7).

Hopefully, this activity can be a motivation for young Indonesians to continue working

Together with PT Indolima Perkasa, a well-known agency in the field of event organizers, MICE, and Field Marketing Services, they will organize a flagship event from Camp Broadway New York, namely Mainstage Jakarta.

CBI Artistic Director, Adit Marciano said that CBI managed by PT Asa Pentas Mahakarya together with PT Indolima Perkasa, which holds a license from Camp Broadway New York (NY) has again demonstrated its educational capacity for theater and performing arts.

"CBI's mission is to make theater a developmental place to build confidence, hone skills, and discover each individual's unique talents," he expressed, in a written statement, Thursday (7/6).

After successfully sending five Indonesian representatives to The New York Pops 40th Birthday Gala last May, CBI is now back to show its educational capacity in theater and performing arts.

His party also collaborated with young Indonesian artists namely Nala Amrytha and Gerardo Tanor as the main characters of Annie Jr. and Mr. Oliver Warbucks.

"For five days, the children will take part in a series of musical theater training, as well as activities that can provide a platform for students to develop character and build self-confidence," he explained.

He added this program would close with a family show finale on the peak night of the Mainstage program at the Wahyu Sihombing Theater, Taman Ismail Marzuki on July 7, 2023, which was also supported by PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro).

"Camp Broadway Indonesia is very proud to be able to host a program adapted from the flagship program Camp Broadway New York - Mainstage.
