Seribu Islands Has Recorded 112 Beginner e-KTPs

The Seribu Islands Population and Civil Registration Sub-agency (Dukcapil) has noted that as many as 112 electronic IDs (e-KTP) owned by residents aged 16 to 17 or beginner have been recorded from January to June 2023.

Recording has been done 50 percent

Seribu Islands Dukcapil Sub-agency Head, Ginanjar said that this year, as many as 224 e-KTPs are targeted to be recorded for beginners.

"Recording has been done 50 percent. We'll keep trying to intensify recording at the sub-district office and during integrated mobile services," he said, Thursday (7/6).

1,500 Beginner e-KTPs Have Been Recorded in West Jakarta

He explained the recording targeted 16-year-olds with the aim of making it easier for them when they turned 17.

"Physical collection of e-KTP is still being carried out when residents are 17 years old. It can be taken in each urban village according to the area," he explained.

He added the coverage of the mandatory age of e-KTP in Seribu Islands had reached 100 percent or had met the target of 21,049 people. He appreciated residents who are disciplined in carrying out population records.

"We're optimistic that the target for recording e-KTP beginners this year can be achieved" he stressed.
