DPRD Holds Plenary Meeting on Persentation of 2023 Second Recess Results

The Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) held a plenary meeting to submit reports on the results of the recess of two leaders and legislative members for the 2023 budget year.

The recess implementation must be reported to DPRD leadership who makes comments, aspirations, and complaints from the public

The meeting itself was led by Jakarta DPRD Vice Chairman, Khairudin and was attended by Culture and Tourism Division Governor Deputy, Marullah Matali.

Jakarta DPRD Vice Chairman, Khairudin expressed the DPRD Bamus working meeting held on May 2, 2023 had agreed on a schedule for the second recess for 2023 to be held from May 15 to June 28.

Then Jakarta DPRD leadership letter Number 46/2023 on the implementation of the second recess period of Jakarta DPRD for 2023 budget year.

"The recess implementation must be reported to DPRD leadership who makes comments, aspirations, and complaints from the public," he expressed, at City Council building, Tuesday (7/18).

Meanwhile, Jakarta DPRD Member, Wa Ode Herlina said that the report on the recess results, which was a compilation of several activities by the legislative leaders and members, amounted to hundreds of aspirations divided into several fields including government; land and public order; regional economy and finance; development and environment; as well as people's welfare and education.

"The report on the results of the second recess in 2023 from legislative leaders and members is submitted to the Acting Governor to be used as input and evaluation material, as well as further studies in the planning stages of the Musrenbang program and preparation of the RAPBD," she expressed.

Hoepfully, the aspirations collected by legislative members through recess activities could be accommodated, thus the results would not just be ceremonial activities.

"Jakarta DPRD Commission will monitor the follow-up results of the recess of the two leaders and members for the 2023 budget year in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations," he stated.
