Cawang City Forest Fence Repaired and Installed with Spotlights

The East Jakarta Parks and City Forest Sub-agency (Tamhut) repaired fences and installed LED spotlights in the Cawang City Forest, Jalan Mayjen Soetoyo, Kebon Pala Urban Village, Makasar.

Cawang City Forest area is even brighter at night.

East Jakarta Tamhut Sub-agency Head, Djauhar Arifin said that his party had installed a fence using threaded iron in the holes to anticipate the entry of irresponsible people who abused the existence of the city forest for negative things.

"We have closed the part of the fence that had holes in it since yesterday afternoon, so it is not easy for people to enter the Cawang City Forest area," he expressed, Thursday (7/27).

Besides making fences, his team together with the Bina Marga Sub-agency have also installed spotlights and LED lights in every corner of this city forest area.

City Utility Facility Infrastructure Section (PSUK) and Public Street Lighting (PJU) Division Head, Yanuar Ikhsan added his party also helped install four 400-watt overhead spotlights and two 120-watt LED spotlights in the city forest area.

"With these spotlights and LED spotlights, the Cawang City Forest area is even brighter at night. So, if there are parties who carry out activities in it, it is easy to see from the outside," he stated.
