Jakartans, You Can Now Top Up JakCard Through Tokopedia

Bank DKI continues to provide innovative and high-quality services to customers, one of which is by expanding non-cash services. Most recently, Bank DKI collaborated with Tokopedia. Bank DKI JakCard users can now top up electronic money balances through the Tokopedia application.

Bank DKI also provides special discounts or direct discounts for JakCard users who top up their balance through the Tokopedia application of Rp 26,000 with a minimum top up of Rp 100,000 during the period July 25 to August 12, 2023.

Bank DKI Main Director, Fidri Arnaldy said that the strategic collaboration between the two parties is aimed to increase convenience and accessibility for Bank DKI customers who wish to top up their JakCard electronic card balances through a leading and trusted marketplace platform.

"Bank DKI believes that the synergy that is built will have a positive impact on society in terms of access to finance and ease of transactions," he expressed, Tuesday (8/1).

According to him, JakCard Bank DKI has been present as a choice of card-based non-cash payment methods, especially for the community and commuters in Jakarta.

He explained Bank DKI's JakCard acceptance can be widely used as a non-cash payment tool in various modes of integrated transportation in Jakarta including Transjakarta, MRT, LRT, and Railink, payment of entrance tickets for museums and tourist attractions managed by the Jakarta Provincial Government.

"Including payments on a number of toll roads such as Jagorawi, JORR, Bogor Outer Ring Road, inner-city toll roads to the Bali-Mandara toll road," he explained.

He explained the collaboration between Bank DKI and Tokopedia was not only in terms of top up services but also included expanding JakOne Pay as a payment channel and providing Land and Building Tax (PBB) and E-Retribution biller features on the Tokopedia application, and Tokopedia is now a one of the official JakCard Bank DKI stores.

Bank DKI Company Secretary, Arie Rinaldi hoped that this collaboration would increase convenience and accessibility for Bank DKI customers, as well as provide a more pleasant and reliable transaction experience.

As for the information, Bank DKI keeps carryimg out synergy and collaboration with various business entities, including cooperation with cardless cash withdrawals at BNI, BCA and CIMB ATMs, as well as collaboration with Indomaret in providing cardless cash withdrawal services throughout the Indomaret network. Then, collaboration with Perbarindo in terms of digitizing BPRs, and most recently a partnership with BC Card Asia in the framework of providing a payment service system.

Here is how to Top Up Your JakCard Balance on the Tokopedia Application:

1. Open Tokopedia application

2. Click Top Up & Billing menu, select Electronic Money menu

3. Click Check Balance and tap your Jakcard

4. Click Top Up, select nominal you want and select JakOne Pay or another payment channel that you have as a payment method

Lastly, the JakCard top up menu via Tokopedia application can be done on cellphones with Android and IOS operating systems that are equipped with NFC features.
