Bank DKI launched Digital Island in Seribu Islands, Friday (7/21). Literacy and educational activities for non-cash payments through the Qris application are packaged in a folk festival event in the Seribu Islands Regency Plaza area, Pramuka Island, North Seribu Islands.

Present at this event were DPR Commission XI Member, Kamrussamad; Financial Services Authority (OJK) Banking Supervision Chief Executive, Dian Ediana Rae, Jakarta and Banten Regional Office 1 OJK, Roberto Akyuwen, and Seribu Islands Regent, Junaedi and his staff.
Bank DKI President Director, Fidri Arnaldy said the declaration of Digital Island in Seribu Islands presented various activities ranging from socialization of financial literacy, MSME bazaars, digital product education, entertainment, and MSME Village program inauguration initiated by his party.

According to him, it is one proof of Bank DKI's concern for educating Seribu Islands people about digital banking products.
"This is our concern to educate the public, thus they are more familiar with Bank DKI products, starting from services to the JakOne Mobile digital super app," he expressed.
He explained the JakOne Mobile Bank DKI Super App product can make it easier for customers to open savings accounts online anywhere and anytime.
This product is also completed with various payment features, from billing and online shopping, QRIS transactions, electronic money top-ups, charity or donations to others, to securing emergency funds by opening deposits and savings accounts.
Seribu Islands Regent, Junaedi expressed his appreciation for the launch of Digital Island and Bank DKI's UMKM Village on Pramuka Island. It could increase the financial insight and inclusion of local community, as well as visitors to Seribu Islands.
"Thank you to Bank DKI, OJK, and Bank Indonesia for synergizing to support community literacy in a bid to increase the tourism potential of Seribu Islands," he added.
OJK Banking Supervision Chief Executive, Dian Ediana Rae conveyed her support for the declaration of Digital Island in Seribu Islands.
Hopefully, it could improve local people's understanding of digital banking and payment systems.
"This is a good activity and needs to be appreciated. Digital payments should indeed be used by the community and MSMEs," he concluded.
