Jakarta Offers 10 Potential Projects at 2023 JIF"Today, we're holding the Jakarta Investment Forum, the goal is how Jakarta can finance various strategic activities, such as tourism, infrastructure, health, and so on," he explained, in the Jakarta Provincial Government's press release.
He added JIF 2023 is held as a forum for promoting potential projects to potential domestic and foreign investors.
"We will invite investors, and hopefully they will be interested in the economic conditions in Jakarta. Moreover, Jakarta will become a global city in the near future. So, we need funding to realize this development," he continued.
Through optimal financing and investment mechanisms, Jakarta can continue its long-term development activities.
"My hope is that increased investment will provide a multiplier effect in various sectors which will boost economic growth," he added.
Jakarta BI Representative Head, Arlyana Abubakar added the important role of investment in the structure of the economy in Jakarta because most of Jakarta's growth comes from investment.
"Indeed, the biggest one is household consumption, around 60 percent. Only then government spending by 12 percent. So the effort to hold this JIF activity is so that we can attract investment, and it can also boost the economy of Jakarta in general," he stated.
