Jakarta PMPTSP Agency Head Benni Aguscandra stated that the theme 'Investing in Resilience' is in line with the priority issues of U20 with the theme 'Recover Together, Recover Stronger' which will be held from August 30 to 31, 2022.

As an integrated event, JIF and U20 focused on two main issues namely post-pandemic challenges and climate change.

"The theme of Investing in Resilience is in line with the Jakarta Mid-term Regional Development Plan (RPJMD) for the 2023-2026 period which aims to create a resilient and sustainable city regeneration and open up environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)-based investment opportunities," he explained, Tuesday (8/30).

Through the collaboration of various parties, JIF is a clear proof of Jakarta's commitment to climate change mitigation and the transformation of Jakarta into a greener and livable city.

It would discuss investment opportunities in Jakarta, such as the Sustainable Food System, Waste Management through Circular Economy and Public Private Partnership (PPP) Green Investment to encourage sustainable projects.

"We are also collaborating with the British Embassy to present a thematic discussion with the theme Funding Infrastructure: Unlocking Multi-Resources in Structuring the Project," he closed.
