BUMD Porseni Enlivens Indonesian Independence's 78th Anniversary

The Regional-Owned Enterprise Development Agency (BP BUMD) is holding a Sports and Arts Week (Porseni) to celebrate the Indonesian Independence's 78th Anniversary.

There are about 13 participants of BUMD and four from PT Patungan

Jakarta BP BUMD Head, Nasruddin Djoko Surjono said the competitions in this Porseni included badminton, table tennis, basketball, futsal, vocals, e-Sport (mobile legend), and jogging.

"There are about 13 participants from BUMD and four from PT Patungan," he expressed, Tuesday (8/8).

He explained the winner would receive a prize in the form of trophy, medal, and coaching cash.

"Hopefully, it will strengthen the sense of unity and togetherness between BUMD personnel, improve fitness, and achievement with high sportsmanship through sports, and become an arena for collaboration between BUMDs," he explained.

He hoped that it could be a routine agenda with different host that is held alternately by each BUMD.

"This is the first time to be held by Perumda PAM Jaya," he admitted.

Perumda PAM Jaya President Director, Arief Nasrudin added this year's Porseni was slated to be held from August 8 to 16, 2023.

"This event is the Jakarta Acting Governor's idea in order to strengthen the synergity of BUMD from various fields, especially sports," he added.

This sport is very important for health, including this Porseni which is also an arena for strengthening BUMD synergy not only on formal matters.

"No less important, this aims to foster the spirit of nationalism and the corps spirit of BUMD employees," he stated.
