Broken Channel along Jalan EE Raya in Cengkareng Barat Repaired

The West Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency repaired the water channel at Jalan EE Raya, RT 12/04, Cengkareng Barat Urban Village, Cengkareng Sub-district.

Cengkareng Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head, Jhon Tarigan expressed the repair of the 60-centimeter-wide channel with 80 centimeters high was carried out along 43 meters or from the end of Jalan EE Raya to the front of the Cengkareng Sub-sector Police Post.

"We're doing repairs because many sheet piles are broken," he expressed, Wednesday (8/9).

It has been ongoing since two weeks ago by sending ten personnel to thr location. After it was done, it would be continued with the attachme of a manhole cover in the size of 60 centimeters.

Before the channel was closed, his team had also drained the mud as deep as 20-25 centimeters. Currently, the overall progress of construction has reached 40 percent and is targeted for completion next month.

"Hopefully, the water can flow more smoothly into the channel of Jalan Kamal Raya and make the area look tidier," he hoped.
