Dengue Fever Attacked 343 People in S. Jakarta

Apparently, the dengue fever disease is still a serious threat for Jakarta people. No wonder, especially in South Jakarta, the disease has attacked 343 people who live in 10 sub-districts throughout January-March 25, 2015. 

Its number is decreasing compared to the same period last year, which was 681 cases

Of the 10 sub-districts, most cases are detected in Jagakarsa with 57 cases, followed by Cilandak 41 cases, Pasar Minggu and Pancoran 37 cases. 

Head of South Jakarta Health Sub-Department, Yudhita Endah said 343 people are infected by dengue fever.

"Its number is decreasing compared to the same period last year, which was 681 cases," she told, Sunday (3/15). 

To minimize the same case, local people are  urged to hold an anti-mosquito campaign (PSN) for 30 minutes every Friday. "The campaign is very effective to kill the mosquito larvae," she stated.
