352 Cubic Meters of Mud Transported from Pesanggrahan River

The West Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency is dredging the 389-meter-long Pesanggrahan River mud that crosses Meruya Utara Urban Village in Kembangan Sub-district and Kebon Jeruk Urban Village in Kebon Jeruk Sub-district.

West Jakarta SDA Sub-agency Head, Purwanti expressed the work which has been running for four days has succeeded in transporting as much as 352 cubic feet of mud.

Pesanggrahan River in Kebon Jeruk will Soon Be Dredged from Mud

According to her, the dredging was done from 3.5 to four meters deep. To speed up it, next week, her party would add two amphibious excavators and a truck to transport mud.

"It is carried out, thus the river capacity becomes more and the water flow can flow smoothly, thus it is expected to minimize inundation during the rainy season," she uttered.

It is targeted for the completion until six months ago.
