National Children's Day Festival in Seribu Islands Goes Lively

According to her, the Rotavirus drip immunization for toddlers aged 2.3 and four months was a "Hadiah Kemerdekaan" (gift of independence) from the Jakarta Government, to prevent severe diarrhea in infants.

"This immunization is given three times for children aged 2.3 to four months. This is held in Jakarta for free," she expressed.

According to her, diarrhea in babies aged 2.3 to four months could be a problem if not prevented and treated, as it would cause the baby to become dehydrated which could end in death.

"It is very important for education and encourages the public to be smarter in dealing with health problems in infants and toddlers," she explained.

According the latest data, there are about 160,000 toddlers in Jakarta. But only 66,000 of them were targeted to get Rotavirus immunization.

"This immunization will be ongoing in a week ahead," she concluded.

As for the information, there are several activities, namely health talkshow with speakers, Piprin Basarah, Ellen, and Mutiara Anisa, goodie bag distribution for 250 toddlers, and healthcare services, such as medical check-up, tension, and blood sugar for toddlers aged 15 and over.
