4,169 Tourists Swarm Seribu Islands Last Weekend

The Seribu Islands Tourism and Creative Economy noted that as many as 4,169 tourists visited recreational sites in Seribu Islands from August 19 to 20, 2023.

Attraction Promotion and Creative Economy Division Head, Ahmad Farihin said the high number of tourist visits was due to the Reggae Music Festival on Pramuka Island.

"Last weekend was quite busy, nearly four thousand people vacationed in Seribu Islands," he expressed, Monday (8/21).

Rawa Bening Market Attracts Foreign Tourists

Of 4,169 tourists, 2,146 came from Muara Angke Port, 1,413 were through Marina Ancol, 555 were through Tanjung Pasir, and 55 were through Rawasaban Pier.

"Most visits seen on Saturday with 3,396 people and Sunday with 773 people," he explained.

He asserted his party would try

holding activities in a bid to attract more tourists in Seribu Islands.

"The more tourists who visit here, it will boost the welfare of the island community," he closed.
