Seven Poor Sidewalks in East Jakarta Repaired

The East Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency has been starting to repair broken sidewalks at seven spots.

LIt is targeted to be done in early December 2023

Road, Bridge, and Road Equipment Section Head, Benuly Situmorang expressed the seven sidewalks being repaired are on the east and west sides of Jalan Laut Arafuru. Each of them has 835 meters long and two meters wide.

There are also other sidewalks on Jalan Raden Inten II on the east side along 1,150 square meters with 1.8 meters wide and 550 meters long on the west side.

While on the east side of Jalan Pahlawan Revolusi, the sidewalks have 342.6 meters long and 753.8 meters long on the west side with a width of variation between three to 3.5 meters.

Then on Jalan Bekasi Timur Raya, the sidewalks have 705 meters long with three meters wide.

He explained the repair itself has been ongoing since a week ago.

"It is targeted to be done in early December 2023," he explained, Monday (8/21).

It was also complemented by the creation of an underground Integrated Utility Network Facility (SJUT). Thus, later, aerial cables that use poles, would be attached underground.

"Besides the beauty of the city, this is also to provide comfort for residents," he stated.
