Central Jakarta Holds Sidewalk Cleanup Action on Protocol Roads

The Central Jakarta administration once again held sidewalk cleanup action on several protocol roads spread across the region on Friday (7/28) night.

Central Jakarta Mayor, Dhany Sukma said the cleanup action was carried out at night when the mobility of pedestrians and vehicles was not high.
"This aims to prevent accident. That's why we did it at night at around 8 PM," he expressed, Saturday (7/29).

"We also involved local RT and RW in this action," he added.
This action included brushing the sidewalks with soap, painting the kanstine blocks in the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) area, and cleaning the bottom of the Transjakarta bus stop.
"Especially the GBK area, we have to keep it clean. Because we will receive state guests such as governors and mayors from ASEAN countries," he uttered.
Hopefully, it could make Central Jakarta cleaner and tidier. Thus, ASEAN country guests who pass through the protocol road would be more comfortable.
"Hopefully, this action will provide many benefits," he hoped.
