No Formaline Food Found In A Raid

In order to prevent formalin beef rind (kikil) spread further, Head of Cental Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Department, Muljadi raided formalin beef rind to 5 traditional markets. There is no beef rind found which contaminated formalin.

Our focus to raid market in West Jakarta area, such as Karang Anyar Market, Timbul Kartini Market, Palmerah Market,  Benhil Market and Petojo Hilir Market

The raid is aimed as a prevention contaminated beef rind spreading out in greater Jakarta, as previously revealed an illegal factory which produce beef rind with formaline in Semanan, West Jakarta.

Our focus to raid market in West Jakarta area, such as Karang Anyar Market, Timbul Kartini Market, Palmerah Market,  Benhil Market and Petojo Hilir Market,” he uttered, Thursday (3/17).

Dorms will Be Raided as Drug Anticipation

According to him,  currently a kind of food prone to substance formalin is made from processed fish and meat.  If there is found such dangerous substances, it will be directly done confiscated and warning will be given to “tricky” sellers.

“We will figure out where the formalin derives, If there is crime indication behind, then we will report it to police,” he said.

Besides formalin food, his side will also check the expired date from various food. If there are expired products, it will be directly seized.
