Investment Participation Only for Transportation BUMD

To support the performances of Provincial Administration-owned Enterprises (BUMD), Jakarta Provincial Government is doing the government investment participation (PMP) to public transportation BUMD. While for the other BUMDs such as Bank DKI, the government did not propose PMP budget due to it did not gain the agreement from the councils.

Jakarta Governor Basuki'Ahok' T Purnama said, Head of City Council Prasetio Edi Marsudi was wrong in reading the evaluation result of 2015 City Budget from Home Affairs Ministry related to PMP to five BUMDs.

"It's actually written that total of investment participation to 5 BUMDs as much as that," stated Ahok at City Hall, Tuesday (3/17).

City Denies to Give Capital to Five BUMDs

In 2015 budget draft evaluation from the ministry, he explained, it was written total of PMP from the government to five BUMDs.

" For example, Haji Hospital is more than Rp 100 billion. The local government have deposited PMP amounted to Rp 52 billion but this year we did not ," he uttered. 

He revealed, Jakarta Provincial Government only allocated to PT MRT Jakarta by Rp 4.6 trillion and PT Transjakarta Rp 1 trillion.

"The government investment for Transjakarta will be used to buy new bus and for PSO (Public Service Obligation). It is inappropriate if Kopaja rates currently at Rp 6,000, while Transjakarta only covered Rp 3,500 and the rest is taken from PSO," he explained.

Basuki also criticized the City Council because there is no government investment for Bank DKI as in accordance with Bank Indonesia regulation, if Bank DKI want to enter Book III category, they should deposit the capital of Rp 12 trillion.

"Where as, deposited fund was only Rp 3 trillion, that it should be reached to Rp 12 trillion. Then the City Council must be read it wrong," he added.

As simply known Head of Legislative Council Prasetio Edi Marsudi mentioned, Jakarta Provincial Government suggested PMP proposal to PD Dharma Jaya amounted to Rp 51,702,096,639, PT Ratax Armada amounted to Rp 5,500,000,000, PT Cemani Toka amounted to Rp 112,968,859,000, PT Grahasari Surya Jaya amounted to Rp 48,870,000,000, dan PT RS Haji Jakarta amounted to Rp 100,308,278,000.
