Street Musicians & Beggars Rampant in Setu Babakan

The existence of street musicians and beggars continues to rampant in the Setu Babakan's Betawi Budaya Betawi (PBB), Jagakarsa, South Jakarta. It is surely disturbing the convenient of local or foreign tourists who visit the site. 

That's why, we send 5-6 officers to the field every Saturday and Sunday since last week

Despite the South Jakarta Social Sub-Department has sent officers of Supervision and Social Controlling (P3S), yet the beggars and street musicians remain operate recklessly. 

Head of South Jakarta Social Sub-Department, Kismoyo Hadi claimed due to this condition, he received many complaints from visitors. 

One Month, 60 PMKS Netted in East Jakarta

"That's why, we send 5-6 officers to the field every Saturday and Sunday since last week. We're also coordinating with the PBB's Security Management as an anticipation effort," he said, Wednesday (3/18). 

By doing so, he continued, as many as 10 people with social welfare issues (PMKS) were netted. "But most visitors here are disturbed by street musicians and beggars," he finished.
