Those taxis are allegedly modifying the taximeter, thus the passengers obligated to pay expensive rates.

Jakarta KUMKMP Head, Jhon Frial mentions three taxis were secured on Jalan Boulevard Raya, Kelapa Fading, North Jakarta, Wednesday (3/18). They are Mega taxi B 1590 NTA, Putra taxi B 1427 FTA, and Eagle taxi B 1623 KTG. They violated the Law No. 2/1981 on Legal Metrology.
