162 Trees Planted on Jalan Boulevard Barat Area, Kelapa Gading

The North Jakarta administration and PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol planted 162 trees on Jalan Boulevard Barat area, Kelapa Gading, Tuesday (9/19).

This is just the initial stage. So, in the future, we are about to plant 1,000 trees

North Jakarta City Secretary, Abdul Khalit said today's tree planting is a real effort to overcome the problem of climate change, especially air pollution. Hence, he appreciated PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol for initiating this action.

"This aims to preserve the environment. Hopefully what PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol is doing will motivate other companies in North Jakarta," he asserted.

Since October 2022 until now, as many as 35,148 trees have been planted in North Jakarta.

PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Property Director, Cahyo Satrio Prakoso explained the 162 trees planted consisted of 112 trees type Tacoma Stan and 50 trees type Tabebuya.

"This is just the initial stage. So, in the future, we are about to plant 1,000 trees," he stated.
