January - September, 10,182 Vehicles in East Jakarta Netted

During its Operation Lintas Jaya during January to September 20, the East Jakarta Transportation Agency recorded and took action against 10,182 vehicles parked illegally.

Operation will continue until next December

Operation Division Head, Riky Erwinda said that from 10,182 vehicles, 3,999 were ticketed, 989 had had their operating  licenses revoked, 765 were flattened, and 4,429 were grounded.

"This number is likely to continuously increase considering that operation will continue until next December," he expressed, Wednesday (9/2).

Operation Lintas Jaya: 96 Vehicles Sanctioned in East Jakarta

The operation itself involved 35 joint personnel of the Transportation Sub-agency, Traffic Regional Unit, Garnisun, and POM TNI.

"To optimize it, we also send tow cars to control vehicles parked illegally," he stated.
