The Central Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency is elevating Jalan Cempaka Putih Tengah XXVI, Cempaka Putih with concrete to minimize flooding during heavy rain.

Central Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency Head, Muhammad Soleh said the elevation was carried out, as the road contour in this area is shaped like a depression, which often leads to floods.
"It also follows up on requests from residents and council members' recess last year," he said, Tuesday (10/10).

By doing so, it was expected to be able to minimize flooding in the rainy season.
