"First, the price of rice increased by Rp 1,000/kg, chicken increased by Rp 1,000-1,500/head, chilies also increased by Rp 10,000/kg. Meanwhile, egg prices fell by Rp 2,000/kg and oil prices were stable," he expressed, in the Jakarta Provincial Government's press release.

Responding to the prices hike for several basic commodities, one of which was rice, he instructed Perumda Pasar Jaya to coordinate with PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya to push the supply of rice.

"There must be a lot of rice supply, I ask the Managing Director of Perumda Pasar Jaya to soon contact the Food Station. Other prices will also be coordinated with several stakeholders, thus they can be controlled," he explained.

He also checked the stands distributing basic necessities for Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) Plus holders. According to him, the Jakarta Government keeps improving data for KJP Plus recipients. He emphasized that card holders should be in accordance with the realities on the ground and be on target.

"No problem if KJP is used for children who really need it. Someone also used it for children's additional food. Currently, the Social Agency is improving the data according to the reality in the field, whether it is P3KE (Targeting the Acceleration of Elimination of Extreme Poverty) or DTKS (Integrated Social Welfare Data), we are fiixing up the data, thus the distribution of aid is right on target," he stated.
