Broken Sheet Pile of Cakung Lama River on Jalan Lestari has Been Repaired

The Cilincing Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Task Force, North Jakarta, has finished repairing the broken sheet pile of the Cakung Lama River on Jalan Lestari RT 01/RW 10 Sukapura Urban Village.

It is done by rebuilding the sheet pile walls using split stone, sand, and cement

According to Sugeng Sugiono, Head of Cilincing Sub-district SDA Executing Unit, repairs to the 30-meter-long sheet pile were carried out by 18 personnel on Thursday (9/28) and were completed on Saturday (10/14). Currently, the only work was tidying up around the location.

"It is done by rebuilding the sheet pile walls using split stone, sand, and cement," he said, Thursday (10/19).

His party also increased the height of the sheet pile from 120 to 150 centimeters, to form an embankment.

The reepair received appreciation from RT 01/RW 10 Chairman, Sukapura Urban Village, Dasmi. He assessed, it had met the residents' expectations and was carried out well.

"In the future, we will continue to improve the water channel infrastructure in the environment and draining," he stated.
