Job Fair at Mangga Dua Square Offers 3,271 Vacancies

The East Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy Sub-agency (Nakertransgi) is currently holding a job fair, offering 3,271 vacancies, in the Mangga Dua Square, Pademangan from Tuesday (10/24) to Wednesday (10/25).

North Jakarta Administration's Economy and Development Assistant, Wawan Budi Rohman appreciated the job fair. It was expected to be able to accommodate job seekers.

Thus far, many job seekers have had difficulty getting information about vacancies from companies. Likewise, many companies still have difficulty finding workers according to their needs.

He hoped that it could be a momentum to bring job seekers and companies together. Job seekers should prepare themselves by understanding the position required and according to the skills they have.

"Hopefully, many of the job seekers will be accepted later. So, it will significantly reduce the number of unemployed in North Jakarta," he asserted.

Training, Placement, Productivity, and Transmigration (P3T) Section Head, Dwi Juni stated it is started from 10 AM to 4 PM without charge.

There are 40 participating companies consisting of retail, property, hotel, finance, heavy industry, food producers, and internet network providers. It also included a bazaar for 10 coached SMEs.

"Our daily visitor target is around 1,000 people," he stated.
