PKK Acting Chairwoman Gives Food Packages to 50 Elderlies at Dursa Bersatu RPTRA

Jakarta TP PKK Acting Chairwoman, Mirdiyanti Heru Budi Hartono accompanied by East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar, gave basic food packages and money to 50 elderly residents.

Those packages were given on the sidelines of the Temu Sapa Lansia at Dursa Bersatu RPTRA, Duren Sawit Urban Village, Tuesday (10/24). It was attended by East Jakarta TP PKK Chairwoman, Diah Anwar was enlivened with Keroncong music and free health checks.

Besides providing basic food packages, she also provided motivation to the elderly to always be enthusiastic in carrying out their daily activities.

"I pray that all the elderly in Jakarta will always be healthy and can still carry out their activities," she expressed.

East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar hoped that this event could bring familiarity to his residents. Moreover, the elderly who attended were also very enthusiastic and looked happy when singing along with the Jakarta PKK Acting Chairwoman.

"TP PKK Acting Chairwoman shared motivation for the elderly who are present here," he said.

He advised them to remain young at heart, strong and able to express themselves like when they were young.

"The city of Jakarta was built by all existing components, including the elderly. I ask you to stay healthy and enthusiastic," he asserted.
