City Government and 13 BUMDs Discuss Work Plans 2024

The Jakarta Provincial Government and 13 regional-owned enterprises (BUMD) companies and one joint venture company (PT JIEP), held a coordination meeting to discuss the 2014 work plan, Thursday (10/26).

Hopefully, this is a rule model that is carried out on an ongoing basis

The meeting above was held in the Jakarta Equestrian Park, Kayu Putih, Pulogadung, East Jakarta was opened by City Secretary, Jojo Agus Setyono and attended by Jakarta Economic Assistant, Sri Haryati; Jakarta Inspector, Syaefulloh; Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) Head, Syafrin Liputo; and BUMD Development Agency Head, Nasruddin Djoko Surjono; as well as other officials.

BP BUMD Head, Nasruddin Djoko Surjono expressed the meeting itself was held to discuss the working plan 2024, which is aligned with the Jakarta Government's priority programs and the strategic direction of BUMD development.

In the forum, shareholders conveyed their aspirations consolidatedly by inviting all BUMDs.

"Hopefully, this is a rule model that is carried out on an ongoing basis. In preparing this work program, consolidation has been conducted with related stakeholders

Before the meeting, he invited academics from IPB, business practitioners from Bank Mandiri, and the Home Ministry to discuss business prospects in 2024.

He went on to say that input from academics and practitioners was critical because there would be business challenges related to the global economy in 2024. They were international pressure in the business world, Cold War abroad which is likely to influence the condition of BUMD, and democratic party starting from the Regional Election to the Presidential Election.

"Hopefully, it can strengthen relations between BUMD. Support and collaborate. So, it is hoped that BUMD will become more solid in the future," he continued.

He added it was also marked by the launch of the new BP BUMD logo by the City Secretary, Joko Agus Setyono. The logo was produced from a competition during Porseni BUMD. Of the three logos, one of them was chosen by the Acting Governor to become the official BP BUMD logo.

"Hopefully, this logo doesn't differentiate between BUMDs. However, it is becoming more solid and united," he stated.
