Seribu Islands' Anniversary Event Runs Smoothly with Various Activities

The Seribu Islands Regency administration held the peak of its 22nd Anniversary commemoration in the Cinta Bridge area of Tidung Island, South Seribu Islands.

Various kinds of activities have been held since last week, ranging from Cultural Tradition Celebrations, Music Festivals to competitions.

Seribu Islands Regent, Junaedi hoped that at the age of 22, the region he leads can become more advanced and prosperous with increasingly vibrant economic and development conditions.

"This moment is an encouragement for all of us who continue to work hard to advance the Seribu Islands," he expressed, Friday (11/10).

He hoped that the Seribu Islands were also becoming a more developed tourist attraction. This year, his party revitalized the Cinta Bridge on Tidung Island, which previously did not have much function.

Various developments in the Seribu Islands that have been underway are also expected to push tourist visits. Thus, the level of the economy and social welfare is more advanced than today.

"Now, in the bridge area, we have facilities such as plazas, swaying fountains, and additional lighting. Hope the bridge will become a 24-hour tourist attraction," he hoped.

There were also electronic small passes (E-Pas Kecil) handed over to fishermen, scholarships for island students, house renovation keys from Baznas Bazis, and distribution of 1,000 bougainvillea trees.

The event was also enlivened by carnival attractions and fashion shows from various elements of regional apparatus organizations (OPD) to the people of the Seribu Islands.

"Everyone is very enthusiastic and fun to watch. Thank God, the event was a success," he exclaimed.
