Heru Synergizes Cross-Agencies and Elements to Prepare for Rainy SeasonAccording to him, the preparedness of all authorities in facing the rainy season expected to occur in mid-January 2024 is very important. This is because 40 percent of the areas in West Jakarta are below the surface and prone to flooding, including the Rawabuaya, Duri Kosambi, Jalan Panjang, and Tegal Alur areas.
"What we do today is expected to be able to handle flooding during the rainy season quickly and well," he expressed.
Aside that, the ceremony also displayed the readiness of supporting infrastructure, such as rubber boats, tents, operational vehicles, and so on.
"Hopefully everything can be handled well. Coordination must also be strengthened," he stated.
