Nagoya University, Dinkes Confirm Cooperation toward Hospital Services

Jakarta Health Service (Dinkes) received a visit from a delegation from Nagoya University Graduate School Of Medicine, Japan. The visit itself was aimed at seeing the facilities and infrastructure of Tarakan General Hospital (RSUD) and Jatinegara Sub-district's Health Center.
Nagoya University's Department Head for Healthcare Administration, Yamamoto Eiko acknowledged that it was his first time visiting Indonesia. On this occasion, his party wanted to see and learn about hospital services in Jakarta.

According to him, there was no difference in services and facilities in Japan, except for the architecture of the buildings.
"All the same, except for the condition of the building," he said.
Tarakan RSUD Services Vice Director, Weningtyas Purnomorini the arrival of the delegations from Japan also wanted to explore cooperation in developing the competence of Human Resources (HR).
"At Tarakan Hospital, specialists and sub-specialists are complete. We're going to work together in the form of a fellowship for heart, cancer, and stroke services," he admitted.
He added the cooperation could later be in the form of training in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery for heart defects in children.
"Hopefully, the exploration of this collaboration can increase the knowledge of doctors at Tarakan Hospital," he stated.
