Another tree-planting action was carried out by Jakarta's Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono together with the ranks of the Jakarta Provincial Government.
Today, 2,324 trees are planted
On that occasion, tree planting was in synergy with PLN's Greater Jakarta Main Distribution Unit (UID). As many as 2,324 trees were planted beside the Mookervart River, Duri Kosambi Urban Village, Cengkareng, West Jakarta.
He confirmed that the tree-planting action would continue as we entered early 2024.

Further, he appreciated the PLN Cares for the Environment movement which many people have benefited from, including the tree planting action carried out together with the Jakarta Government.
"They (PLN) also have many other CSR activities, such as developing farmers, residents, and MSMEs. Hopefully, what we are doing today can be useful and of course, make Jakarta green again," he explained.
Responding on this matter, PLN UID Jakarta Raya General Manager, Lasiran said tree planting is a form of PLN's concern for Jakarta's environment.
"This is a form of our concern for the environment, especially in Jakarta. For us, this is a form of our charity, oxygen alms, for the people of Jakarta. Because, with the growth of trees, they will produce oxygen and neutralize pollution in Jakarta," he explained.
Aside that, the MSME development in the community continues to be carried out by his staff. The smooth running of various PLN activities held in the Jakarta area could not be separated from the support of the Jakarta Government.
"This year, we're carrying out activities on how to coach MSMEs in the community to grow the community's economy. Our activities will continue, in collaboration with the support of the Jakarta Government, thus our activities run smoothly," he added.
Afterward, the Acting Governor also took the time to go to the Pegadungan Sub-district Office, Kalideres Sub-district, West Jakarta, to plant chili seeds.
