The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that parts of Jakarta have the potential to experience rain on New Year's Eve, Sunday (12/31).
Be aware of rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds
As quoted by BMKG's official site, light rain is expected in West Jakarta in the afternoon; heavy rain and lightning in East Jakarta; and cloudy in Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, and Seribu Islands.
"Be aware of rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds in parts of East Jakarta, South Jakarta, and West Jakarta in the late afternoon, as well as in Seribu Islands at night," stated BMKG's official site.
Rain to Pour in East, West, and South Jakarta TodayOn New Year's Eve, light rain will fall in the areas of West, South, East Jakarta and Seribu Islands; and cloudy in Central Jakarta and North Jakarta.
Entering dawn, light rain will pour in West Jakarta and North Jakarta; and cloudy in Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, East Jakarta, and Seribu Islands.
Today's temperature ranges from 24 to 29 degrees Celsius with air humidity around 80 to 100 percent.
