40,000 People Celebrate New Year's Eve at TMII

More than 49,000 visitors celebrated New Year's Eve 2024 at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), Sunday (12/31) to Monday (1/1) dawn.

This number has exceeded the target of 20,000 to 30,000 visitors

TMII's Public Relations Division Head, Novera Mayang expressed tens of thousands of visitors were very enthusiastic about enjoying the various entertainment presented, both on the main stage and in each pavilion.

"Our recording results show that the number of visitors enjoying New Year's Eve reached more than 40,000. This number has exceeded the target of 20,000 to 30,000 visitors," she expressed, Monday (1/1).

10,000 People Throng to TMII

Most visitors enjoyed the music concerts and dancing fountains displayed in the middle of Archipelago Lake while sitting on mats by the lake.

Aside that, many were also concentrating on watching the all-night Wayang Kulit performance with puppeteer Ki Sri Susilo Tengkleng in front of the courtyard of the Sasono Langen Utomo building.

"There is also a very interesting fireworks party. They are very orderly in enjoying New Year's Eve," she concluded.
